Synopsis: Gary, Callie, Phoebe, and Trevor have relocated to New York City and have taken over the Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters. They are working hard to restore the family business and hunt down specters that are causing havoc in the city. However, their actions during their hunts have caused trouble, and Mayor Walter Peck threatens them with punishment. As a result, Gary and Callie decide to bench Phoebe due to her young age. Phoebe is upset by this news, but she finds solace in an unexpected friendship with Melody, a friendly ghost. Meanwhile, Ray’s quest to find interesting objects for his occult book shop leads him to Nadeem, who is selling a mysterious orb containing dark energy. Winston uses his paranormal research facility to examine the orb, but they soon discover that it holds an evil spirit named Garraka. Garraka plans to unleash the “death chill” and freeze humanity while setting all ghosts free. Although “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” may not have the same heart or mystery as its predecessor, it is still a tremendously fun film.
