Synopsis: In this movie “Devil’s Workshop”, There isn’t even a spooky prologue in Chris von Hoffman’s Devil’s Workshop; instead, the attention is on the entertainment aspects. Even after Eliza enters the narrative, she still sounds more like a therapist when she asks, “Tell me about your mother.” The occult is also subtly added to the plot with references to the “psychic disruption” that utilizing the internet produces and an exorcism rather than a cleanse. The fact that this is occasionally cut short to show us Donald’s antics only serves to increase the feeling that the movie is a drama rather than a scary one. Clayton begins “Devil’s Workshop” with a monologue that resembles the introduction to a slasher movie. It transpires that he is going on a demonologist audition. He performs auditions frequently. He hasn’t benefited much from his auditions, though, as the one part he did land was eliminated from the final product. Even worse, Donald, who is as annoying as he is successful and is competing for the same role, attends the same acting class as him. He makes plans to spend a weekend with Eliza, a real demonologist, after getting a callback for a second audition in an effort to improve his chances of getting the part.
