Synopsis: Bella Channing (Brittany Bristow) operates a puppy rescue facility with her grandmother Lily Channing (Jayne Eastwood), who retired from the police and army. Stockard’s Pet Foods is their primary sponsor. However, they abruptly inform them that they have sold the firm. The sponsorship has since been ended, and the new owner says that the rescue is on Stockard’s assets. With an eviction on the horizon, Lily and Bella set out to acquire documentation that would show Lily’s rightful ownership. Bella turns to JR Stockard when all else fails (Chris McNally). He is the Stockard estate’s son and heir. She approaches him for assistance. JR is in the military and has returned home to complete the deal. He decides to assist and is soon introduced to Indie, a former army dog. Indie likes JR, and his connection with Bella improves as their friendship deepens. Bella, who is hesitant to interact with someone who is ready to leave, battles with her feelings and finds herself in a quandary when JR announces her departure for Iraq.
