Synopsis: There may have actually been a villain in “Under Wraps 2 2022” this time. A jewelry patch on one eye sets Sobek apart from Harold and Rose. But they don’t get any more frightening than this. Jordan Connelly introduced it as Sobek’s mesmerizing communicator. Which takes away any dangerous edge from the character. And with the backdrop of the Halloween festival, it’s fun to have some deceiving style with lots of mummies roaming the streets or people dressed like them. Which makes it very difficult for Sobek to find Harold and Rose after leaving their coffins. The movie sees a bit of entertaining family drama and a few upgrades to this remake of the 1997 film, goofy enough to make it fun. This version of Under Raps features a fresh diverse cast. The divorced mother of the main character Marshall starts dating again. And he is trying to cope with the change. Amy, another main character, is new to town after moving in with her father and her new husband. And Gilbert is his friend facing his fears. And when he gets very scared in a movie. Harold the Mummy is a physically proficient performer. Which is sure to make kids laugh. It is a good option for those families. Those who have different tolerances for scary things.
