Synopsis: The tale of The Kings Daughter 2022 is based on Vonda N. McIntyre’s novel The Moon and the Sun. It was released in 1997. This film was directed by Sean McNamara. The plot of this film begins with Louis XIV (Pierce Brosnan), also known as The Sun Ruler, who is the world’s most powerful and influential king. Louis sought answers to his inquiries from his spiritual adviser, Père La Chaise (William Hurt), who assisted him in locating the secret to immortality. Père La Chaise also served as the royal physician. Louis was convinced that a Mermaid (Bingbing Fan) was a power capable of bestowing perpetual life. Louis employs a young sea captain to explore the waters and capture enigmatic animals. The Sun King kidnaps a mermaid and wants to take her vitality. His ideas have become much more difficult. However, by bringing his illegitimate daughter, Marie-Josephe D’Alember (Kaya Scodelario), to court with dignity and an internal breach of power. As a rare solar eclipse approaches, Louis will discover his daughter’s real loyalties as he races against the clock to destroy the Mermaid’s life-giving power.
