Synopsis: Frankie is in need of assistance in maintaining order at her bar in the Florida Keys. She receives a tip and decides to seek help from Dalton, a former UFC fighter known for his dangerous reputation. Dalton is enticed to come to Glass Key and is offered a houseboat and cash in exchange for becoming the cooler at The Road House, a bar that is constantly plagued by troublemakers. Upon seeing the chaos, Dalton takes charge and leads the staff in keeping the peace, which includes refusing service to men affiliated with Brandt, the son of a criminal kingpin who wants to take control of The Road House. Dalton finds himself caught in the middle of ongoing troubles and also catches the attention of a local doctor named Ellie, who is intrigued by his willingness to embrace pain. While the original “Road House” may not be considered high art, it had a distinct atmosphere and was exceptionally well-executed.
