Synopsis: River Road 2022 A mix of drugs and crime is well directed by Rob Willey. It’s sexy, cool, and has a bit of Natural Born Killers in it where two lovers will turn to crime after passion and feed their addictions. The filming works really well, especially when they get high on drugs. I’m not a technical guy when it comes to film lenses and the like but Wiley has certainly done something to make it very realistic for the audience. The cinematography is certainly breathtaking along the river. One might claim that River Road is a ‘potential riches to rags’ type of film but it is more than that. It’s stressful, serious, and will make you bite a nail or two. I think it’s a little short at under 1 hour 30 minutes and one of the later scenes, involving a fist fight, while realistic, is probably not needed. I would definitely recommend River Road if you like rock, drug-related movies, and something tense.
