Synopsis: Director Rouzbeh Heydari, co-writer Dana Abraham, and Nikolas Benn set some ambitious goals for themselves when they wrote the script for Neon Lights 2022. The picture aspires to be a mental health drama, a family drama, a psychological thriller, and a slasher. Unfortunately, despite a prologue that strongly hints at one of the themes, the film never decides which of the four is the dominant plot thread.
