Synopsis: To escape the hands of a malevolent cult, the two ladies fled into the New Mexican desert. They are terrified and crazed, and they can’t shake the sensation that they are being watched by this boss, a man who is as cunning as he is domineering. The Aviary is more interested in mental games than in character development. Given the unclear scenario in which the protagonists Jillian (Malin Akerman) and Blair (Lorenza Izzo) find themselves in a desert governed by the horrible hypnotist Seth, trippy doesn’t have to be the worst approach (Chris Messina). They are able to flee the Panth. Filmmakers are likewise ready to begin the tale with these formerly indoctrinated, now knowledgeable ladies roaming about with a map in hand and a predetermined path back into society. It is a typical feature of pornography while under the influence. There is a technique to avoid using clichés. A magnetic force that has been adjusted. Jillian and Blair, surprisingly, are in rather good spirits and engage in normal conversation. You wouldn’t imagine they’d just flee from a disturbed living environment, especially when Jillian takes a bad-mouthed vanishing action and Blair wants to make a joke that he, properly so, finds offensive. And, at the very least, I didn’t go down without first justifying myself. However, there is emotional agony, particularly when they are temporarily reminded of these atrocities and the loss of their ability to shock. This is until, inadvertently, the survivors find themselves not only heading toward the same landmark but also in the opposite direction of civilization. Jillian and Blair also get nighttime visions or nightmares as a result of Seth’s hypnotic tactics. The dialogue exchanges disclose more about the job of the “lead engineer” as well as the cult series in which both ladies had performed. These illusory freakouts provide a glance into the visual aesthetic with some well-captured, huge, and solitary desert vistas, but what’s more intriguing is how out-of-the-ordinary behavior becomes increasingly typical. Perhaps the cruel prank from the start was the product of something else. The two characters are also concealing secrets, although it has been established that they are still partially programmed, in some way, by Seth.
