Synopsis: The two important characters in the cast are Cecil (Siphesihle Vazi) and Thando (Mpho Sebeng). The former is an aspiring musician while Thando believes in doing short-term work and making quick money for gangsters. He is well acquainted with the Bra Sol (Vuyo Dabula). Later, Diane Greser (Tessa Jubber) leaves Nicki Greser (Zoey Sneedon) near her school but she leaves to visit Cecil, who is revealed to be her boyfriend. Meanwhile, Johan Greser (Langley Kirkwood) is not getting a promotion as his boss and daughter-in-law Sunset have revealed that the board wanted his recommended candidate for diversification purposes and better marks a more experienced black woman. As the day goes on, Diane receives a call from Nicki’s school stating that she has not been seen and this is the third time this week that she has been absent. The witch makes an excuse and leaves a voice message to call Nicki back. Nicki spends the day with Cecil and Thando, drinking herbs and clubbing. She expresses her hatred for her parents and her desire to leave LA. Cecil, however, describes it as a wonderful opportunity and encourages him to go. At her club, Bra Sol saw Cecil’s performance and offered him a job. He also inspects Nicki and secretly talks to Thando about persuading her to work for the club. Meanwhile, a frustrated Johan doesn’t come to dinner with the witch and sonnet because he is ashamed of not getting a promotion.
