Synopsis: Five years after the events of the first film, Connor, an electrician, goes to prison after falling on a grenade for a telekinetic known as Garrett, who runs a criminal syndicate that distributes Psyke, a drug derived from PWP spinal fluid. When Connor gets out of jail, Garrett pulls up beside him and tries to grab him, but Connor wants to go back to his normal life. Garrett runs his drug syndicate out of a high-rise project-housing tower and claims that the money he makes funds the ghettoized PWP community; he bribes the corrupt police, led by the villainous Sergeant Kingston, to keep them out of his way. Meanwhile, the police are gradually getting rid of the violent-minded Chappies because of poor public relations, replacing them with vicious robot dogs that are programmed to be non-lethal.
