Storyline: 180 2026 directed by Alex Yazbek wastes no time getting under your skin. It opens tight claustrophobic. A man with a ticking clock and a past that won’t stay buried . He moves fast but not clean. Mistakes stack however that’s where the film bites every misstep leaves a bruise you can almost feel. Yazbek shoots with intent. The frame jitters then freezes. Meanwhile dim hallways glow sickly green and streetlights smear across wet asphalt like oil. It’s ugly. On purpose. The sound design hums low almost mechanical therefore even silence feels loaded like something’s about to snap. The lead performance carries grit in every breath. He doesn’t beg for sympathy he earns it then throws it away. Why trust him? You shouldn’t. And yet you do. Moreover the supporting cast slips in and out like ghosts each encounter pushing the tension higher tighter. There’s a midpoint turn sharp sudden that flips the emotional weight. You’ll feel it in your gut. Instead of easing up the film doubles down dragging you through moral gray with no clean exit. Is it rough around the edges? Absolutely. Still that roughness gives it teeth. Ultimately 180 2026 stands apart in Moviesjoys movies as a stripped down nerve rattling ride that lingers long after the screen cuts to black.
